Dr David Cashley

Dr David Cashley is our clinical director (and chief tea drinker) at Active Health and has been in post for 30 years. He is also an Honorary Clinical Research Fellow with the University of Dundee Medical School and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow. His extensive research into forefoot pain earned him a PhD from Queen Margaret University. He has published multiple scientific papers and textbook chapters on foot pain and lectures internationally on the subject. He brings a wealth of scientific evidence to our clinical practice, ensuring that we are at the forefront of innovative interventions for foot pain. His special interest is in forefoot pain and the role of manipulation in foot and ankle disorders. He is also the podiatrist to Dundee Football Club.

In his spare time, David enjoys road cycling and weight training. He still keeps his rugby boots just in case the team is short, but we all know that he is past it! (just don’t tell him we said that 😉).
